WELCOME to yet another running of the TYMC Durham Dales Classic Motorcycle run.
The event is strictly non-competitive and is designed to be an informal and friendly day out for the enthusiast. REMEMBER IT IS NOT A SPEED EVENT AND CONSIDER OTHER COMPETITORS WHEN OVERTAKING, ENSURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT FUEL FOR THE WHOLE EVENT, AS IT IS UNLIKELY THAT THERE WILL BE ANY AVAILABLE ON ROUTE.
The run will be approximately 90 miles long, split into two parts broken by a compulsory lunch break at Mickleton Village Hall which is approximately half distance, where home made refreshments are on sale and there will be plenty of time for participants to inspect all the machines.
The suggested route will be flagged and marshalled at significant points, and is run over surfaced roads. Precise route instructions are provided and a limited breakdown service will be available, but not guaranteed for those unfortunate enough to break down.
